A pint and some scottish music

Published by flag- Itxaso Steel — 6 years ago

Hootanannys is a pub near the city centre of Inverness.

For food, this is a nice place for affordable, good traditional scottish food, for example pies and fish n chips, but also for tasty treats such as vodka cheesecake.

The drinks are pretty regular although recently they have opened up a cocktail bar on the top floor.

The music is the main attraction - there are traditional ceilidh bands playing quite often, so it is a good place to go for a party but also a cultural experience. Often there are local up-and-coming bands playing too, more rock and indie styles.

Hootanannys is popular as well as it is open later for bars in Scotland, and when it closes it is in the ideal location to move on to other clubs on the high street. Inverness is very small so everything is pretty much located within a ten minute walk maximum once you arrive in the city centre.
