Generally, what is Santo Domingo Institute of Technology like?

The INTEC is the best university in the Dominican Republic to study Engineering related programs and Medicine. It has also fame in business carreers. Through the year you have to take 4 trimesters. They have a very fast pace so you learn to work under preasure. There are no vacations as they say. Best decision i've made.

What are the facilities like?

The facilities are bit rustic, but each one have projectors and air conditioners. The parking is the weakest thing they have, so make sure to arrive 45mins-1hr before to find parking. The laboratories are up to date technology and the WIFI is very capable. The Library is very organized and you cand find titles related to every topic you are looking for. You'll be required your personal id or your Intec ID to borrow anything from it.

What are the tutors like?

Tutors are mostly students that have passed the course. Mainly they will help you as you require and when they have time because they are students too.

Are the lessons easy in Santo Domingo Institute of Technology?

It depends on the professors and in your program. Much Proffessors are not into technology which makes their lectures a bit of difficult and they have a very fast pace so you have to do HW or projects day by day.

Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?

They do, mostly work fairs, technology fais, conventions and competitions between universities. There is always something.

Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?

Yes, they're much experienced proffesionals.
