Status report

Woow a long time passed since my last status report. In the last weeks I didn't do a lot of things, because the weather was bad all the time. Therefore I had less motivation to do something.

But this week rocks! Last week I was driving with my bicycle for around 20 minutes to the west end of Reykjavik. There was a lighthouse and a beach. I enjoyed the sunbeams but I was close to frozen to death anyway :)

Because the weather was still good, I climbed the Mount Esja with some friends on Saturday. Its the local mountain of Reyljavik. Unfortunately the top was foggy in the morning, althaugh the sky was cloudless, but below the view was great. On Sundy we did another trip with the university. We visited a triple junction of the tectonic plates, the eurasian, the american an little one which is between like an sandwich. The landscape was impressive, inspite of we didn't see something special.; )

Meanwhile I could begin volleyball training! Me, as a Swiss busy person are happy, to have a hobby here. Although my team seems like full of old women!

That's all what I want to say. I will discover a lot of things the next two week and I hope I will find time for writing a longer report.

Best regards

Patricia
