Karachi-a city few can handle

I have spent four years in Karachi as an under-graduate student of IBA. I had the most amazing time of my life in this city. From the amazing Arabian Sea to turtle beaches, this city is undescribable in words alone.

Karachi is home to the world's best spicy sea-food. If any of you decide to travel to Karachi, do not forget to indulge in prawn biryani from Biryani of the Seas. Even if you manage to have Sindhi Biryani from anywhere, it is equally delicious.During my stay in Karachi, my family and friends took me to their favourite eating spot at Boat Basin where we indulged in desi-foods i.e Chicken Makhni(a popular dish known as Butter Chicken) and Prawn Masala. I bet when you have it you will not have enough of it. The food might be spicy but that is what Asian cuisine is all about. It is not made for the faint-hearted and surely not for the gastric patients.

However, if you are on a look-out for restaurants, you can go to Village and Lal-Qila where you can find all cuisines under one roof. You will also find the right desserts to indulge in your sweet tooth pirtucularly hot gulab-jaman's(a favourite of every Pakistani)

If you want to test your singing abilities, you can find the right karaoke spots for yourself. Moreover, if you are a person who loves indoor-games starting from skating to bowling, and finding the right snack bar to indulge in food, Arena situated in Karsaz is a family entertainment zone and also a favourite spot for gamers. Similarly,if you are a person who cannot watch movies on your own, tag along your friend's for a perfect movie day at Atrium Cinema's. It has a 3-D Multi Screen and is located within the Atrium Mall.

Another point of interest that i would like to draw your concentration on is the great National Stadium in Karachi where domestic cricket matches take place. It was established in 1955 and is owned by the Pakistan Cricket Board. It has the capacity for 34,000 and more spectators.

In Karachi you can find malls that are affordable and the ones that are up-scale. If you are out on a shopping spree, you will be dazzled by the low prices on shops at Tariq Road and yet find the most amazing khusas and chapals for a perfect flattie-day out. Similarly, you can go to Gulf, Clifton and Pak-Towers if your account is on premium. Moreover there are many mid-range malls in terms of affordability and yet offer many local and international brands and labels under one roof i.e Atrium Malls.
