Why did you choose to go to Horsens, Denmark?

Mainly because the classes are taught in English - I've always wanted to improve my level of English and now, after completing my stay, I have no regrets!

What is student life like in Horsens?

Very good, if not perfect. You'll meet students from all over the world! It's total immersion, there are evening events organised for students every weekend. It's fantastic!

Would you recommend the city and university of Horsens to other students?

YES! If you want to improve your English and experience a university filled with culture then VIA University-College Horsens is the place for you!

Was it difficult to find accommodation in Horsens?

Where would you recommend going out in Horsens?

Zwei Grosse Bier Bar Horsens, Hekkenfeldt Horsens, Jag Bar, Student Bar à Kamtjatka and lots of other places in the city centre.

And for food? Where are your favourite places?

McDonald's, Burger king, Delons Pizza Horsens - the only thing the city is missing is places where you can get good food!

What about cultural visits?

The medieval festival which takes place every year at Fussingsvej 8, 8700 Horsens! (It's also one of the biggest in Europe)

Any advice for future students in Horsens?

If you have a money, secure accommodation before you get there!
