What is it like to live in Helsingborg? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It's a great city to live in, it's multicultural, has great beaches, lots of restaurants, cafés and shops. Also the surrounding nature is stunning. Another great thing is the short distance to Helsingör, Copenhagen, Malmö and Lund, it's super easy to get around. Even Gothenburg is only a train ride (2,5 hours) away.

What is the student lifestyle like in Helsingborg?

It's nice, but not far as good as the student lifestyle in Lund. Helsingborg is more suitable for a regular life... If you want parties and student activities Lund is a better alternative. But we do have a Thursday pub and a few things going on. Good opportunities to broaden your network with companies in the area.

How much does it cost to live in Helsingborg?

Around 4000sek/month for a studio in the centre and around 6500sek/month for a 1 bedroom apartment.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Helsingborg? Is there any advice you can give?

Student accommodation could be tricky, keep updated about the different students accommodations and about when the landlords "releases" the apartments... It's the first ones emailing that will get the apartments.

Kärnan, Scandlines ferry, Pålsjö skog, Gröningen, Mölle, Kullaberg...

Is it good to eat out in Helsingborg? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yep, great! Café Mezo is a nice place, late opening hours, cheap and it has nice food.

Is the nightlife good in Helsingborg? Where is good to go?

Not too exciting...
