Heidelberg is a nice city. Some people describe it as the biggest city they have ever seen as everybody seems to know everyone.
What is the student lifestyle like in Heidelberg?
The campus is diveded into three distinct parts: In the old town, there are the social sciences, financial studies are located in Bergheim and the campus "im Neuenheimer Feld" (build in the 70ies, occupying the old argricultural area) gives home to everything else. Therefore these groups of students are somewhat divided.
How much does it cost to live in Heidelberg?
About 600€ to 800€ per month.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Heidelberg? Is there any advice you can give?
Look early. There are about 33k Students in Heidelberg, that is about one fifth of the overall population of Heidelberg.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Well, you'll get about every food somewhere here. Old tourist town and all.
What places would you recommend visiting in Heidelberg?
Go look for yourself. Don't do the big tourist trips unless you are a fan of old buildings.
Is the nightlife good in Heidelberg? Where is good to go?
Go to the old town , and also Mannheim (neighbouring town) for clubs.
