Why did you choose to go to Haderslev, Denmark?

For its good education what was going to enrich my experience. The level of English in this country is also good and warm people.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

3 months. I received around 200 euros per month

What is the student lifestyle like in Haderslev?

You learn a lot in many ways, both in the school and outside, the living experience.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Haderslev to other students?

Yes. Even though it can be a litle bit tough in the begining (it's cold you don't know anyone..) after all it is worthwhile.

What is the food like?

It's ok, you can find a bit of everything, just a litle bit expensive.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Haderslev?

No. The school provided me with acommodation.

How much does it cost to live in Haderslev?

Comparing to Spain it is quite dear: 300 euros for the house per month but for the food you spend more, around 300 per month maybe, apart from the transport, travelling.. But the cost depends on which person.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available in the University?

For me it was not an easy language but finally to get to know some words and expresions. The school offers you a course anyway.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Haderslev from your city?

From Spain to Haderslev there is no other way that taking the plane ( It is cheaper to travel form Denmark to other country than getting in Denmark. around the country the bus its the cheapest)

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Haderslev?

The pubs around the city are good or the cafe from the university. But the best parties are the ones you do with your friends at home, cheaper and fun.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Haderslev?

I didn't go to any sorry.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The city has some good views and cultural points but you should definetely go to Copenhaguen it is so much bigger and gorgeous! And aarhus too.

Is there any other advice that you could give to future students who are going to Haderslev?

If you go on winter take with you good warm clothes and if you didn't ride on bycicle before you'd better practice now because it was most of the people transport!
