studying a lot in january, february and june, endless party from the end of february to the end of may and from september to november,

Would you recommend the city and the University of Guimarães to other students?

yes, teachers are usually cool and people are friendly.

What is the food like?

the food is good and cheap.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Guimarães?

I found an appartment with some other erasmus through a post in the university's board. it was cheap.

How much does it cost to live in Guimarães?

you can live easily with 500€/month, party included.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

for "latins-language-speaker" is easy, for the rest is not.
university offers a very good first-level class (one for latin and one for "anglos") and a not so good second level one.
the teachers are really good but the level of students attending the second-level class is quite low,

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Guimarães from your city?

flying to porto and taking the train from there.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Guimarães?

BA, tasquilhado, pubs in the praças.
