The duration of my internship was of three months and I was receiving 500 euros per month.

Its nice, friendly and healthy environment for student. The local students are very friendly and helpful.

Yes, I would recommend it to other students.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Guimarães?

How much does it cost to live in Guimarães?

It depend upon your expenditures, but in you must have minimum budget of 600 euros.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

My language was English and I found it very easy to communicate. About the other languages, you can ask erasmus department.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Guimarães from your city?

I was coming from Czech Republic and I had to take a flight from Prague to Porto and from porto I took get bus from airport towards Guimarães.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Guimarães?

Yes, it's very beautiful, safe and full of historical places.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Guimarães?

There are lot of restaurants near university, unfortunately name were portugese that's why I cann't remember their names.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Museums, Castles and cultural festivals. Also you can visit Braga and Porto which are very close to Guimarães.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Guimarães in the future?

The only issue for me was accommodation. Try to get university accommodation, otherwise it will be a bit expensive.
