Everything is close by, you don't have to travel long distances to go from a place to another.

What is the student lifestyle like in Guatemala?

There are not many people studying at universities. Less than the 10% of the population have access to superior level studies. But people are willing to learn, teachers are really good and take their time to help the students.

How much does it cost to live in Guatemala?

Depends on where so you live at and if you like going out a lot. An average would be between GTQ. 2 000. 00 to GTQ. 3. 000. 00 paying house bills, services, food and partying.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Guatemala? Is there any advice you can give?

It's not to hard. There are many places near by the universities, you can ask students there or associations.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

There is so much variety in food. I like almost everything.

I like typical food from the central market, Antigua Guatemala. Is not hard to find a place to eat that is not expensive.

Is the nightlife good in Guatemala? Where is good to go?

It's ok, some places are expensive but fun to go out at, others are not that expensive and you have a great time, too.

What advice would you give future students heading to Guatemala?

Prepare to have a great time, people are friendly, weather changes constantly, it's easy to move around. You will have an awesome time and will not want to go back home.
