Places to go

There are a lot of good places to go in this city, but I would recommend the SCHLOSSBERG restaurant on the mountain especially. You have two options to get to it, the first way is to take the funicular for €2. 50 or you can go to the city centre and climb up 500 steps to get to the summit.

There are a lot of inns in the city where you can have a nice time with family or friends. But if you want to have a couple of beers in your apartment with your friends (every residence has a party room) you can go to the supermarket and buy some for very cheap, at around 40 cents a beer. It's much cheaper than in a canteen, it costs €2. 40 a beer.

If you want another kind of entertainment, you can go to the Styrian arsenal or to the Schloss Eggenberg castle, where you can learn a bit about the city's history or you can just take a tour of the city centre and learn to take an interest in the city's culture and to get to see the centre of the city.

The city's charming climate might come as a surprise, it's neither warm nor cold, but I still would recommend taking lots of warm clothes, like sweaters, coats and jackets, because it gets cold at time, like in the mornings.

If you like chocolate and you want to do something fun outside of the city, I'd recommend going the chocolate factory, it's about 1 hour and 10 minutes away from Graz (belonging to the Zottar chocolate manufacturers).

Here, you can enjoy every single kind of chocolate to have ever existed in any part of the world.

As well as the chocolate factory, there's a huge park where you can enjoy a bit of nature and have a nice time with family.

Well guys, if you're thinking of travelling to Europe, you definitely have to go to Graz.

Don't miss out on experiencing this marvellous city and its marvellous people.
