Why did you choose to go to Graz, Austria?
In my opinion, Graz is a great opportunity to achieve your career goals. Universities are excellent and quite well organised.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
Actually, I am not part of any Erasmus program, so I don't have any scholarship.
What is the student lifestyle like in Graz?
Friendly, exciting with a little dose of difficulties and nostalgia.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Graz to other students?
It definitely should be one of options on your list.
What is the food like?
It depends on your taste, I find it a bit heavy for my stomach.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Graz?
I was lucky, I found a place in a students dormitory so it's cheaper than an apartment.
How much does it cost to live in Graz?
That is a little drawback, it's quite expensive when you include living costs, transport, books, etc.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
They are courses available and it's easy to adjust to the language.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Graz from your city?
By bus.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Graz?
Anywhere where you can drink good beer.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Graz?
Sagewerk is my absolute favorite.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Shloßberg is the best, in my opinion.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Graz in the future?
