Erasmus Experience in Graz, Austria, by Noura
Why did you choose to go to Graz, Austria?
Because the people here are very friendly.
What is the student lifestyle like in Graz?
It is fun! Besides getting learned in the best universities, you get the chance to explore the great sites of the city!
Would you recommend the city and the University of Graz to other students?
Of course I would! As I said earlier, the people here are so friendly and if you come you weld get a great experience!
What is the food like?
Didn't try any yet! But I am willing to try pizza and kebap!
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Graz?
No. But it took me a while to find any.
P. S. The dormitory I am living in is so good.
How much does it cost to live in Graz?
Well, I think with an accommodation of about 300 euro (with best conditions, you can find cheaper) and living cost of about 200 euro, the monthly cost would be 500 euro. It depends on how much you are used to spend money!
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
The german language is quite hard. But if you are willing to learn it you won't get difficulties!
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Graz from your city?
I don't really know, I used the plane to travel from Tunisia to Vienna, and then I took the bus to Graz (16 euro from Vienna to Graz if yoo book earlier of course).
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Graz in the future?
Just come! You will love it!
