Graz

Hello.

My name is Mariña and I am from a little town near to Santiago de Compostela (Galicia). Last year I decided to go on Erasmus on my second year at University.

I am studying Translation and Interpretation (German, Spanish, Galician and English) at the University of Vigo. But since a month ago I am living at Graz, the second biggest city in Austria.

Even it is just a month I have done a lot of things in here. And I can say that I love this city, it is awesome. Nice people, a really good University, totally bike-adapted city, green and situated in the middle of Europe. What else can I ask for?

In the next days, weeks and months I will share my experiences, my travels, my discoveries, my photos... I will share with everybody my life in Graz.

Graz is in the state of Styria, in the south of Austria. Actually is the capital of this state.

One of the most interesting things about my new city is that it was added to the UNESCO list of World Cultural Heritage Sites in the 1999. Even, in 2003, Graz was the Cultural Capital of Europe. This is thank to the greatness that is imbued in every corner of the city.

In my next posts I will write more about Graz and its interests. And also about my incredible trip to Viena.
