Why did you choose to go to Girona, Spain?
I always wanted to go to Spain, an I got a chance to go there for an IAESTE internship.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
Note: I was not an Erasmus student, but a IAESTE trainee. I was getting 900 euros a month (with a huge delay).
Would you recommend the city and the University of Girona to other students?
Yes, however, I'd prefer Barcelona if I could choose.
What is the food like?
Food is very tasty and also healty - a lot of vegetables, fish, tortilla...
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Girona?
IAESTE took care of my accomodation
How much does it cost to live in Girona?
I don't remember the prices, but it always depend on what you do.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
There are courses of Catalan language (I did not attend). It's easy to learn the basic phrases - in Catalan as well as in Spanish. But it might be confusing cause some people speak Catalan and some Spanish...
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Girona from your city?

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Girona?
I don't remember the bar names
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Girona?
not really
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Girona castle is a very nice place to visit, and walking through the narrow streets in the centre and near the river is also great.
