Why did you choose to go to Girona, Spain?
It was my last option but it was the best option!
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
450€ a month.
What is the student lifestyle like in Girona?
Great! A lot of young people, students, all are very kind and always ready to help you. A lot a things to do as a student (travelling).
Would you recommend the city and the University of Girona to other students?
Yes I would and I did! :)
What is the food like?
The best! Patatas bravas, crema catalana and all the Catalan cuisine is great!
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Girona?
First it did because I spent 2 months in doorms, after that I moved to a flat in the center with other students-best choice!
How much does it cost to live in Girona?
App. 600€ (including travelling, partying, food, accommodation, transport)
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
For me it was not so difficult because I studied Italian, otherwise the teacher was very good so it was not problematic. Yes.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Girona from your city?
GoOpti bus from Ljubljana to Venice airport. Ryanair from Venice to Girona airport and to Girona city by bus.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Girona?
Michigan!
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Girona?

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Girona in the future?
If you have an option, stay there at least for one year-there is so much to see, so many events and great people!
