How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I got around 2700 euros, and I think it is about half that you will spend (I'm spending less, but not doing a lot of activities).

What is the student lifestyle like in Girona?

They let me write things in English instead of exams, but you have to talk on your own with every teacher (depends on the teacher, is hard or not sometimes they treat you like a normal student).

Would you recommend the city and the University of Girona to other students?

For me, it is very good, but if you're afraid about learning Catalan, don't come. For me, it was a very good option to get know two languages, but it can be hard. The city is awesome! For me one of the best places in the world. And one of the most beautiful.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Girona?

I found it by couchsurfing.

How much does it cost to live in Girona?

I've heard that it is the most expensive area in Spain but I don't know. 50 euros per week for food, beer and stuff like this. For the room around 250 (including bills).

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Courses are available but you have to pay. If for you it is easy to learn languages it is not hard, but it is NOT Spanish, Catalan is just one of Roman languages (not one of the kinds of Spanish let's say).

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Girona from your city?

Plane. Ryanair rules, really.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Girona?

Go with local people!

For me the best place is La Imprenta with live music and jam sessions on sundays.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Girona in the future?

Don't come if you are afraid of language, but for me, it was a perfect choice, people are kind and the city is really beautiful, most beautiful coast in Spain is in Girona municipi.
