How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

Six months in Gerona.

What is the student lifestyle like in Gerona?

Very friendly and helpful. Really easy to approach the current students.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Gerona to other students?

Absolutely! It's a great way to meet new people and possibly make long lasting friendships.

What is the food like?

Most are the same. But the different ones are tasty!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Gerona?

Not too much. Reasonably priced.

How much does it cost to live in Gerona?

350€ a month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

There is a language course that I take weekly which really helps. Speaking is a challenge but it's really easy to understand.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Gerona from your city?

I live in the centre of Gerona so everything is walking distance for me.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Gerona?

I have not yet been in a night out. So I don't know. However, I've heard fun stories so I suppose it won't hurt to try.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Gerona?

Konig and Doll. My two favourites so far.

The old town is beautiful.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Gerona in the future?

Be open. Say yes to everything and have fun! It's a once in a lifetime experience.
