Our dishes are gorgerous with Georgian wine. Georgia is the oldest wine producing region. Archeologist excavated 8000 years old village, where there is an evidence of grape wine-making. There are some important grape varietals: Saperavi, Mtsvane, Ojaleshi, Rkatsiteli. If you want to gather grapes, you can come in September and participate in Rtveli. Rtveli is a traditional process, to pick up grapes harvest and make wine. I have been in Lagodekhi, Kakheti regionand I as involved in the traditional vintage and rural harvest.

Transport

Traffic congestion is a really big problem in Georgia, especially in Tbilisi. So that, I recommend to use public transport or small vehicle such as scooters and bicycles. You have to use several transport. First, if you want to use public transport, you can purchase Metroman Card, which costs 2 Lari. Bus- we have several colours of buses. The most comfortable is blue and green. Yellow ones are old. You can take Metroman card and pay 50 Tetri (0.5 Lari) per person. Metro- metro is the best transport, if you want cheap and fast way. You can also avoid traffic jams. Per journey costs 50 Tetri (0,5 Lari). We have 2 lines: Akmeteli-Varketili and Saburtalo line. Mini yellow yellow bus- little bus, which costs 80 Tetri(0,8 Lari). If you like comfort, you can rent car or scooter. But it's better to rent scooters, because we always have traffic jams. Also we have a ropeway railway called Funicular, connecting Chonkadze street to Mtatsminda Park. Funicular has 3 stops: at the center of Tbilisi, the panthenon and the mountain. Fee stands from 2 to 3 Laris, it's depends on time.
