Live in Gdynia is nice. Good transport - many connections and buses are not late in general. Many good and cheap places to eat, especially in city centre.

What is the student lifestyle like in Gdynia?

Most of students party in Sopot, a city nearby, 15 min far from Gdynia by SKM - its local train, which connecting many cities Gdańsk-Sopot-Gdynia-Rumia-Wejherowo. But in Gdynia they party at clubs: Atlantic, Bollywood loung, Bukszpryt. There are not many places to party unfortunately, but Sopot it's the most popular place to go out (many clubs).

How much does it cost to live in Gdynia?

Ypu can rent a room for around 600 zł. A meal like pizza, burgers in a bar are around 20 zł.

Fish, herrings but also meat. Gdynia doesn't have any special local dish.

Is it good to eat out in Gdynia? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Barracuda, fish/seafood restaurant; very good quality. Czerwony Piec, pizza; Maka i kawa, pizza; Blizej, nice place to take a beer and hang out with friends; Bollywood lounge, good indian food & parties/ shisha place; Chwila Moment, good breakfasts, lunch and Kandelabry, house of beer.
