Why did you choose to go to Gdynia, Poland?

Because I haven't got much options to choose from so I have chosen Poland because it is only faculty that accepts more than one student in my department.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I recive 360 euros per month... I am staying here only one semester so I'll recive 1620 €.

What is the student lifestyle like in Gdynia?

Gdynia is calm town, you can find some partys here but sinonim for partying is Sopot and it is realy near.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Gdynia to other students?

Yes.

What is the food like?

It's good, for me nothing special.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Gdynia?

I had many problems with finding my accomodation because of short period of ranting but it's not impossible.

How much does it cost to live in Gdynia?

I'm paying my flat about 200 € per month (living with my friend, it's price for one person), food and grocerys I find cheap, transportation is cheap..., but I can't tell eny specific amount of money on monthly basis.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I don't find polish language easy, for me is pretty hard..., but ESN have organized some meetings where you can learn polish or another languages.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Gdynia from your city?

I came here by plane but in return I am planning to take a train-bus combination.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Gdynia?

In Gdynia you can go out only on the end of the week... In Booliwood can be pretty good and in Harem, but you can't make mistake if you decide to go out in Sopot because there are many clubs.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Gdynia?

I didn't been to any restaurants, but you can also try croatian food here, in restaurant called Dalmacija.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Torpedovina is place which everyone must visit, Malbourk castle...

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Gdynia in the future?

Take warm clothes, it's so cold.
