WOMAD stands for World of Music, Arts and Dance. It is an international festival which is held every year in my town, Cáceres. Artists from all over the world come to Cáceres to show us their musical culture.
It was founded by Peter Gabriel in 1980 in UK. And since that year it has been held in many countries like Australia, New Zeland, Arabia, Italy and Spain.
In Spain, this year is going to be celebrated on 13 and 14 May! If you can, don't miss it!
We already know that the Spanish Kiko Veneno, Dobet Gnahoré from Ivory Coast, Baloji from the Congo and A Naifa from Portugal will attend to the festival!
