Tuesday Pancakes

Today is Tuesday's Pancakes! My flatmates have invited me to eat pancakes, they have made them and we have eaten them with lemon juice, butter and honey! They were delicious! Although now, I'm full! They have told me that it is a tradition in Ireland to eat pancakes in this day. It is supposed that today is a day of penitence, but also a day of celebration as it is the last one before Lent begins. They have asked me if we have the same tradition in Spain, and I have explained that we do not eat pancakes today, but that we have other traditions like the carnival, which finishes tomorrow with the Burial of the Sardine!
