Being far away from home. Miles away. And you always have the chance to see your people's faces, by means of skype, to have a conversation with your friends, to tell them what we do and why. Those are the new technologies. Taking notes and sending essays. Looking for pieces of information and finding and using them. Knowing what the weather is like and seeing how the gusts of wind slam my window. Knowing and at the same time not knowing. Why at the same time are we so alone and so far?
