Quiet, beautiful with nice people and beautiful small places.

What is the student lifestyle like in Galati?

Not quite similar to Bucharest , there are few party places and quite a few places to go out so everyone knows everyone and most likely go out together

How much does it cost to live in Galati?

€200 at most

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Galati? Is there any advice you can give?

No. There are several agencies as well as dorms.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Romania has great food in general. Wherever you may go you will find the same : sarmale with polenta, a lot of pork, nici, the best deserts and drinks

What places would you recommend visiting in Galati?

The Danube riverside, the Planetarium, the Botanical Garden, the Public Garden, the Old City Centrum

Is it good to eat out in Galati? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes. You can find good food everywhere , especially in the restaurants by the river, if it is more special try Cafe Anglais , C House , Burger House for burgers , Gazetto for sushi, Malnas for a boat ride while you eat, Azteq del Sol for Mexican , Blue Aqua for fish and Magic’O for Italian

Is the nightlife good in Galati? Where is good to go?
