I chose Freiburg because philosophy courses are very good. And here there is also the Husserl Archive.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

6 months. I receive 350 €, but they are not enough, because the rent salary is incredibly high.

What is the student lifestyle like in Freiburg im Breisgau?

The city is perfect for every student. That's small, but there are a lot of activities.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Freiburg im Breisgau to other students?

Absolutely.

What is the food like?

The food is delicious. Especially meat and desserts.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Freiburg im Breisgau?

It is incredibly hard.

How much does it cost to live in Freiburg im Breisgau?

Around 500 € for a good apartment, but the foods and the transports are cheap.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, there is a lot of German courses as a foreign language.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Freiburg im Breisgau from your city?

I think that airplane or trains are good as well.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Freiburg im Breisgau?

As in every city, every pub, disco, and so on. You need the right company.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Freiburg im Breisgau?

The best ones are in the center city.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

I think so. I didn't have time yet, I'm working all the time.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Freiburg im Breisgau in the future?

Study the German language before to come. All of them know English, but the integration is seriously in German.
