Ciao a tutti,
I'm mehmet from Turkey like aslı right above me (merhaba aslı ;)). I live in istanbul, am studying management engineering. I'll be in Firenze in January 2012 for 6 months. I really wonder about accommodation, isn't there any dorm in university of firenze? I mean they didn't even mention about that in the mail they sent to us. How are we supposed to do that about accommodation? Looking forward for your posts and to meet each other.
Cheers!

Ciao Mehmet.
I have a friend in Florence at the moment... and she suggest me to stay where she is staying, that is kind of university residence.
Here is their adress: http://www.evergreenimmobiliare.it/site/home.asp
I already sent them my application form, for staying there also during the second semester and they reservate me a room already..
It is better to sent them as soon as possible, because they told me there are lot of people who want to go there. And there is mixture of Erasmus and italian students.. What I find it very interesting.. :) You can find the prices also on this address...
Hope I help you a bit..
Ci vediamo!
:)

Hi Urška :)
Grazie for the information. It really helps and actually i like it. But I've heard that many erasmus students would choose to stay at flats with some erasmus students. So I'm not sure about which option is better :) And should we apply for a room at evergreen at this time? I mean I'll go to Firenze in January or February so I have almost a year.
ci vediamo thanks again :)

I can stay there during the first semester.but how much it cost for a month.
"Tariffe annuali Per Persona:
1° piano: euro 3.806" I dont understand what it means.

bu arada merhaba mehmett:))
Urška Oset Written 13 years ago
Well they told me the rent per month is around 280 euro + costs 35/40 euro (water, electricity, heating)+ 10 euro (internet, self service laundry and the house hold expenses).. for yellow room :)
I choosed this option, because I think I it easier for me, than looking apartments.. and I also heard a lot of experience by people who live(d) in Italy, that private owners often don't give you back your deposit etc..
Yes, I applied it already... but you can still do this later, if you are not shore :)
Good luck :)
