What is it like to live in Florence? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
The city is beautiful and small, so perfect to walk around and not to waste too much time travelling from one place to another.
What is the student lifestyle like in Florence?
Nice. A lot of culture and museums around.
How much does it cost to live in Florence?
Having a place to sleep in the city centre can be expensive, but as i said since the city is small it is possible to look for different areas too.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
The food is really good, especially in trattorias, where traditional tuscanian food is cooked.
What places would you recommend visiting in Florence?
Ponte Vecchio, piazza della repubblica, piazza Signoria, piazza Santa Croce, lungarno.
Is it good to eat out in Florence? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Yeah it is. In the centre that are many trattorias that are nice and also a lot of small places where you can grab sandwiches with traditional types of Ham, cheese, vegetables
Is the nightlife good in Florence? Where is good to go?
There are not too many places to go out. It is amazing towards the summer and spring as the weather is good and allows you to be outside. Generally, there are 3/4 main clubs, many bars and pubs.
What advice would you give future students heading to Florence?
Visit the city properly, as i am sure you will find it absolutely beautiful even if you're not too interested about architecture and renaissance in general. Everything here is historical.
