Why did you choose to go to Florence, Italy?
Because i wanted to study etruscology
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I got 139€ per month, everything arrived in march.
What is the student lifestyle like in Florence?
there are many partys and events but some are very "american".
Would you recommend the city and the University of Florence to other students?
absolutly, the city is beautyful, and i really appreciated my classes (with for some exeptions) a lot
What is the food like?
it's italy, nothing to say there
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Florence?
finding a room in a flat shared with others is very easy, there are tons of offers (it's a little harder if you want to live alone).
How much does it cost to live in Florence?
the accomodation and the bills are a little expensive.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
the language was not a probleme at all, even if i did not follow the classes offerd by the university
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Florence from your city?
the cheapest way was to take the plane to the airport of pisa.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Florence?
everyone will find what suites them the best
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Florence in the future?
don't freak out for the exams, i haven't seen anyone not pass if they have been to the classes. Just enjoy your stay
