For the more biological courses of psychology they offered

What is the student lifestyle like in Florence?

You are very free to do what you like.
During the day you have your classes or you can study in one of the many libraries. In the evening/night if you like to go out, there is a party almost everyday. If you like to hang out with friends there are a lot of beautiful places, bars and restaurants to discover. Also there are a lot of erasmus organisations that will organize meet-ups and take you to parties or on trips in whole of Italy.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Florence to other students?

Yes but pretty expensive bars and not a very modern city

What is the food like?

You can find everything you like

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Florence?

Yes 15€ but I think I just didn't handle it right

How much does it cost to live in Florence?

Everything included I have a budget of 930€/month so 595€ of my own pocket (without the grant)

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I still don't talk ik well but every day you notice yourself understanding more and more everytime
Yes and some are for free

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Florence from your city?

Airplane and train (pisa-florence)

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Florence?

Bar: Lion's fontaine
Club: Space club

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Florence?

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Really a lot. A lot of museums, a lot of beautiful buildings with a great history

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Florence in the future?

I would say: Have a lot of fun, discover beautiful places, eat great pizza and meet new people... But all of this you have to do It for yourself and on yourself. And of course try to go to all the courses and study from time to time
