Why did you decide to go to Florence, Italy?
For me it's the ideal city to live your Erasmus experience, the city isn't too big or small.
How long is the scholarship? How much money to you receive to help
500€ each month.
What is the student atmosphere like in Florence?
Super! But I'm not a student, I do a placement. But I am still able to go out and meet people.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Florence to other students?
Of course!
What is the food like?
I am French, and rivalry is seen between Italians and the French. The cheese, the salt bread I miss.
Was it difficult to find accommodation in Florence?
Not very easy but I pay a lot for it.
How much does it cost to live in Florence?
1000€ a month (rent + food + parties).
How did you find the language? Have you attended a course at University?
Nothing, but my flatmates spoke Italian and I met guys and girls thanks to the exchange website (language exchange).
What is the most economic way to get to Florence from your city
Dad works for air France, so for me the most economic way is by plane.
What places do you advise to go on a night out to in Florence?
Santa Croce!
And to eat in Florence? Can you tell us your favourite places?
San Niccolo.
And cultural places to visit?
Uffizzi, Accademia, Bargello, Pitti, Chiesa di San Marco.
