How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

Nearly 10 months course. I have no scholarship, living cost depends on your lifestyle.

What is the student lifestyle like in Firenze?

Laid back. Don't expect metropolitan, it's a movie scene. Renaissance city with most store closed every Sunday. Classes are light (depends on your passion) I think what you'll learn in Florence is about living a life that is not commercial,

What is the food like?

The best (can't elaborate now, I'm at work).

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Firenze?

Find it when you get there, don't book on-line there's a lot of scam and extra charges, you'll find a lot of options for sure. The city is designed for walking, so you'd probably walk kilometers to somewhere, you'll get used to it. It's too beautiful to notice the distance.

How much does it cost to live in Firenze?

600 euros minimum, but if you're living in Florence take more money with you, go travel somewhere often. You'll learn more this way.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, they offer italian course. Well, if you want to learn it could be easy and depends which country you are from, if you speak Portuguese, Spanish, then this should be very easy.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Firenze?

Every restaurant is good, Italians use fresh stuffs. "Gusto Pizza" is cheap and it's good.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Firenze in the future?

For art students - if you want to learn classic things, this city suits you. For designers with passion for sci-fi and modern stuff (well you'll be in a Renaissance city).
