Why did you choose to go to Firenze, Italy?

Architectural history, art and other cultures, provides me the best place.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

Exchange was for 2 month, each of it supported by the Erasmus+ with the amount 600 euros.

What is the student lifestyle like in Firenze?

Is a bit cozy and most of the people in Italy are open. They do not like to speak English.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Firenze to other students?

Yes, of course.

What is the food like?

Italian gastronomy is well known. Hand made ice-cream and coffee are always perfect.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Firenze?

Yes. I paid for contacts via Pay Pal system.

How much does it cost to live in Firenze?

If you live in minimal way, you need 900-1000 euros every month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Italian language is hard. I tried to practice, but only I learned few sentences and words.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Firenze from your city?

By plane to Pisa, then by low-cost bus or by regional train to Firenze.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Firenze?

Lots of bars can be found in the historical district of Firenze. But if you need to go for a party, try at the Piazza Michelangelo.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Firenze?

I do not remember exactly :D I didn't have experienced any bad things.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Duomo with the surrounding buildings; Academia (Statue of David), Boboli Garden, Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi, etc. So, the culture of historical Renaissance.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Firenze in the future?

Keep in mind that: it is not allowed to buy alcohol after 10 PM in the shops! It's a crazy thing.
