What is it like to live in Ferrara? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Ferrara is a touristy town, full of history and museums. It has a good university and the city is full of life and youth. Ferrara is also nicknamed "city of bicycles" because you can use your bike everywhere!

What is the student lifestyle like in Ferrara?

Normal.

How much does it cost to live in Ferrara?

Ferrara is quite an expensive city.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Ferrara? Is there any advice you can give?

It's easy to find a home at the beginning of the academic term. You can find several campus or private accomodation to rent a room next the university.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is great and there are several dishes to choose. My favourite are Cappellacci, pasta with ragù and pumpkin.

What places would you recommend visiting in Ferrara?

Obviously the castle and the museum "Palazzo dei Diamanti".

Is it good to eat out in Ferrara? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Ferrara is full of bars and pubs where you can eat humburgers, there also many Asian restaurants, kebab, McDonalds etc...

Is the nightlife good in Ferrara? Where is good to go?

In Ferrara, Wednesday evening is dedicated to the university's students, you can find them in the square.

What advice would you give future students heading to Ferrara?

Have fun and eat a lot!
