What is it like to live in Ferrara? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

ferrara is a nice and quiet city it's basically a student city famous by its medieval historical monuments;it reflects the charm of italy.life is not expensive compered to italian big cities, well served by public transport.there is no traffic jam which makes life easier for students especially they move by bike;Irecommend deeply .

What is the student lifestyle like in Ferrara?

lifestyle is normal like any european lifestyle standard .students are always partying mainly at the weekend ,lots of cultural and sports activities (cinema ,theater,musical concert,cultural exhibition)

How much does it cost to live in Ferrara?

rent of single room 220 euro
costs of food ,transport,leisure 500euro

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Ferrara? Is there any advice you can give?

yes, may be it's better to book a room since the months of may ,june but you can find help into the internet site or at the universities (rent announcement)

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

food is great my favourite dishes are pizza and spaghetti

What places would you recommend visiting in Ferrara?

the old town especially the majestic fortress castello estense

Is it good to eat out in Ferrara? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

sure as we are in italy the most famous country of the gastronomy really i don't have a special spot where to eat but I try to cook by my self .I'm fond of the pomodoro sauce, the parmigiano cheese and grana padano cheese?

Is the nightlife good in Ferrara? Where is good to go?

yes especially near the castello where people meet, talk ,have drink,parting, sing, laugh.it 's my fetish place.

What advice would you give future students heading to Ferrara?

don't hesitate to come to ferrara it would be a nice experience, people are friendly , there's a lot of foreign students especially from erasmus,tunisians,spanish, you can explore new cultures ,new thoughts, you can see many differences that make learn a lot of things(human values ,tolerance,sharing ;giving,equality)
