Why did you choose to go to Ferrara, Italy?

I not choose it. But I am happy to be here; because is a very nice city, with a good univesity, with nice people.

What is the student lifestyle like in Ferrara?

Is a little city and a little university, so it is very familiar.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Ferrara to other students?

Yes, I fully recommend it.

What is the food like?

You are in Italy, they love eating! So, pasta, pizza and rissotto style.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Ferrara?

No. There a lots of apartments available, but if you stay a short period it is more difficult.

How much does it cost to live in Ferrara?

I depends. But sharing apartment (250€-300€) + food (150€-200€). If you take a single apartment around 350-450€.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes are courses available for foreign people. If you know a latin tongue it is not difficult to learn. Also the Italian people is very kind and tries to make the effort to understand you.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Ferrara from your city?

Plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Ferrara?

Arci Bolognese.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Ferrara?

In all you can eat very good. For pasta I recommend "Cusina e Butega"; for pizzas "Il cappellaccio matto".

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Museo d'Istoria Naturale, Palazzo Diamanti and Castello Stense.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Ferrara in the future?

Enjoy Italy!
