Lonely Heaven "Ghost Town"
When ı arrived the place, ı had fallen in love with thatlonely heaven.
Around the world there are places to see which are known for all of us. Except these places which most of us have visited already or at least saw them from photographs, there are also some special places standing by themselves into the nature as undiscovered.
Bokod is an old village located on a lake, which i visited during my Erasmus education in Budapest, Hungary. The village is located 78 kilometers west of Budapest.
We departed from Budapest city center and followed the roads which are environed very long, thick trunked green trees. It was an autumn time for nature, presents all beautiful colours of trees as crying leaves from above on us. The road awakens all seasons into my eyes.
It was hard to find Bokod for us even we had two Hungarian friends because they were also have not know the place untill we visited it together. Finally we arrived and an inviting forest met us. It was full off long pine trees.
We started to walk step by step, as crushing fallen dry leaves on the ground and breathing fresh air. Nobody was around. Birds sounds and as wind blows whispering trees were only sounds around us. While walking drooping willow's leaves had been touching my shoulders slowly. Then we explored the lake behind trees. It was surrounded by reeds. Sunshine is filtered by fog on the horizon.
Bokod known as "Ghost Town" as well. Old, wooden small houses placed on the lake look striking and also ı can say scary. Wooden bridges which are connecting the houses seem carry a person hardly because of they are very old. Majority of wooden cottages seem abondened. That is why the place known as Ghost Town too. I think the lake and those old cottages hide ancient memories among to each other. A cat sunbathing in front of a cottage, on the bridge.
Also there is a huge smoking factory on the shore of the lake that makes the view more attractive and mysterious. It is absolutely a different dream to be here. I am taking a step on bridge, it is squeaking and ı feel like ı am walking on a sky mirror.
After couple fascinating hours and plenty of photographes we had taken, we started to walk to leave that beautiful lake. While we were leaving Bokod a deep silence covered all of us. As the evening had started to set on the cottages, smoke rises from chimney, and birds which are left outside flit through the sky, looking for a cozy and warm place.
It was hard to find true way to turn back because of that ghost town's paths was so similar to each other as if reflecting from a mirror. I wish to visit Bokod again in future and call all of you to visit that inspirational beautiful place. Hungary is hiding a mysterious lake and houses.
