Erasmus Experience in Estoril, Portugal by Marinela
Why did you choose to go to Estoril, Portugal?
I choose to study in Portugal because is an alternative option and has so many interesting places to explore and is located next to Atlantic ocean!! I choosed the city of estoril because I wanted to be next to the capital which is 25 km away. To begin with, estoril is a quiet city where a lot of rich people live there. Is a picturesque place with a beautiful beach and nice people. But in my case, going there as an Erasmus student I would like a place that I could do everyday different activities and it would be convienient to my budget, so I choosed to live in Lisbon near the trainstation. That was the best option I did , cause I combine a good lifestyle full of Erasmus students and also the ability to go to the university and join the lessons. Transportation between estoril and Lisbon is about 4.30 roundtrip, this should be considered!!Lisbon is one of the best Erasmus cities you could choose and I recoment it for all of those who have any doubts!!Rents are cheap and lifestyle too!!Lisbon combines everything a good city should have: cultural city , full of life (day and night) , comfortable means of transportation, many beautiful landscapes.Estoril is being a part of lisbon’s region is also very beautiful but recoment Lisbon centr more than estoril.
