What is it like to live in Espoo? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It's a safe place to live in. Espoo is very close to the capital. Public transportation is very good. It's also very easy to travel to Tallinn, Stockholm and to Russia. If you want to experience winter and snow and enjoy nature it's nice place to be.

What is the student lifestyle like in Espoo?

People like to party.

How much does it cost to live in Espoo?

Depends on the accommodation studios are around 600e/mont but student accommodation in shared apartment around 200e/month.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

There are a lot of international cuisines in Espoo. Karelian pies and salmon in all it's forms are great.

What places would you recommend visiting in Espoo?

There is a lot of lakes and beautiful nature.

Is the nightlife good in Espoo? Where is good to go?

There are few night clubs in Espoo but Helsinki is very close so I would recommend heading to Helsinki.

What advice would you give future students heading to Espoo?

It's more relaxed place to live in compared to capital. If you're into skiing, hiking etc. and you like nature it might be good place to go.
