ESCP Europe Business School
Admission
Admission to ESCP Europe Business School is challenging. Being a grand ecole, and among France's top 3 Business Schools, admission to the Business School is a very selective procedure. Even more so for the French students, who particularly have to work very hard to get an admission into this Business School. This is because the total number of French students applying for this top tier Business School is much higher than international applicants. All the students looking for higher education in the Business field look up to HEC, ESSEC and ESCP among other grand ecoles and are hence hard to get into.
For international students, a set of guidelines and test score requirements other than the overall profile is taken into consideration for admission.
Location of ESCP Europe Business School, Paris Campus
ESCP Europe is located near the centre of Paris, unlike the other two top French Business Schools HEC Paris and ESSEC. The year I joined ESCP, the batch from all different programs included students from 90+ countries. It proved that the school was indeed very international. The school holds the prestigious tag of being the world's first ever business school. Its campus in Paris is an old one and was where the story of the school started.

The Paris Campus is not only the oldest campus but also the one with the most courses and faculty. The Paris campus has the maximum number of administrative activities, courses, facilities etc. among all the other campuses of the ESCP Europe Business Schools. The Turin campus, for example, does not yet provide Masters courses, but only Bachelor ones. And the Warsaw campus has been very recently established. This expansion hints that the ESCP Europe Business School continues to take pride in its European identity and values.

Other campuses of ESCP Europe Business School
Today, ESCP has campuses in Paris (France), London (United Kingdom). Berlin (Germany), Madrid (Spain), Turin (Italy) and Warsaw (Poland). In total, these 6 campuses in major European cities open up a pandora of opportunities for its students.
Dual Degree and exchange programs
In addition to its 6 campuses, ESCP Europe offers even more options to its students via the Exchange and Dual Degree programs.
ESCP Europe gives its students the opportunity to create an international profile by studying in its different campuses and demanding mandatory internship experiences. In addition to these, students can also opt for dual degree and exchange programs. ESCP Europe has more than a 100 dual degree and exchange partners.
This further helps the students to create the kind of profile they want for themselves.
Specializations and electives
ESCP Europe Business School MiM program is ranked consistently in the world’s top 5, considering the annual FT rankings. In this program, the students can choose minimum 1 and maximum 2 specializations along with electives. This makes the course very flexible and tailored to each student’s aspirations and interests. ESCP's Executive MBA is also among the world's top ones according to the yearly FT Rankings.
ESCP's MiM courses include various management courses quite similar to the Master in Business Administration (MBA) programs- broadly speaking- Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Entrepreneurship, Strategy and so on.
Administration at ESCP Europe Business School
As I have heard from both French and international students studying at ESCP Europe, there is much dissatisfaction regarding administration at ESCP. The rules are complicated, with new ones coming up at varying intervals, students have important question which are not often answered promptly. However, it is not necessarily something innate to ESCP as the French system is to take things easy and try to work on them in an organized manner.

Duration of an MiM course at ESCP Europe Business School
The MiM was originally proposed to be of 2 years, but with the required work experience of 40 weeks, the course generally takes 3 years for the students to complete. However, the course can be continued for up to 4 years, maximum, if all the prerequisites to obtain the degree have not been validated.
The European Identity
The Business School started off as essentially French, but today the definition of “French” is not sufficient to describe this Business School. As its name and motto suggest, a European identity is key to the school. Even in its emails and website domains, the school maintains eu. With campuses in major cities around Europe, (cities with significance from an economic point of view), the school has been successfully taking forward its European identity.
Even the motto of ESCP Europe Business School reads - "European Identity, Global Perspective". This shows that even though some of the courses are focused on Europe because the European system and hence its rules and laws are different, but the perspective in mind of the Business School is international.
Events and seminars in ESCP Europe Business School
To guide the students, to give the students new information and to make the students meet with smart professionals, there are various seminars held in ESCP Europe Business School. Also, events like consultancy forums where companies meet ESCP's talents are held in the campuses.
