Fuck you Erasmus in Paris

I am so sorry to share that bad experience in Paris at the ESTP. First, my university was not direct in Paris (3rd zone) and the region was full with emigrate what makes nearly impossible for me making contacts with the local.

I got a room somehow here in the campus but my flatmate were not so communicative and there weren't any life in our house (such a bad luck can happened every where to you). There weren't any other Erasmus student at my university but lot of double degree student (they were all the time very stressed because of the courses and had no time for anything). So from the very beginning I felt myself very lonely in Paris. After four months I decided to leave Paris because I found finally some farm work in France and than in Portugal. The main problem was that there weren't any Erasmus organisations at my university! I tried to join the Erasmus Paris life but Paris is very dangerous so after couple of going home with the night bus experience I decided not to go at night anywhere alone...

But somehow the Paris Erasmus life organisation were always at night what made difficult to find contacts with other Erasmus. I love Paris because its so many stuff to do and the city has such an impuls! Maybe I will come back here a day for working because I met some nice French people in Paris but the students were always too busy making something or inviting me anywhere... After all I have a positiv opinion about Erasmus because I was visiting all of my Erasmus friends in Toulouse, in Porto, in Passau and in Brescia and it was always a dream! I think you should avoid big and expensive cities maybe... or you are very rich. Unfortunately I just got a place in Paris because the university in Toulouse refused me... You can imagine how I regret that I went to Paris and not to Prague or other cities where there were free places. I wanted too learn french and after Erasmus in Paris I still love French people and the culture! I will come back someday and making maybe an Erasmus internship in Toulouse.

SO MY FAZIT: Don't make Erasmus in Paris! Anyway I learned that I can enjoy my life if everything is not exactly really good (like no friends, no experience, boring, loneliness and no money because everything is fucking expensive in Paris) So I planed my traveling for the summer, making plans for my master and for my next foreign semester, doing a lot of sport and yoga and becoming vegan, and of course reading a lot of book. I wanted to go earlier because I found a French family who I could work and ride and improving my French. Right now I am so lonely in Paris that I can't stay here anymore because other places in that world are waiting for me right now with new friends, riding, see, nature, and with new people.
