Why did you choose to go to Eisenstadt, Austria?

I decided to go to Austria, because it was opportunity how to learn two languages at the same time - German and English. I could choose subjects in german and english as well. The other non-much-logical reason was that Eisenstadt is not far away from my home country, Slovakia.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I´ve received scholarship for 4 months. The amount of my scholarship was 490 EUR monthly.

What is the student lifestyle like in Eisenstadt?

Eisenstadt is really small town and also the university is not very big. So far I know, there is only one or two party clubs. The students here are much more calm than I am used in my country.

I would recommend Eisenstadt to those students, who prefer calm, small town and not very lively place.

How much does it cost to live in Eisenstadt?

The price for a single room in the dormitory (next building to university) is 340 EUR. The price for a double room is 240 EUR.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The university provides a course of german language during the whole semester. If you pass the exam from this course, you will get ECTS points. After passing the course there is also an opportunity to do a certificat of german language for a lower price than usual.
