Why did you choose to go to Eindhoven, Netherlands?

Actually I found a good thesis topic so my interest was more related to the TU/e level than to the city itself.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Eindhoven to other students?

For the university yes, for the lifestyle no. I think it is boring! And the weather is bad!

What is the food like?

No local food, just international. In general you can find good things to eat.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Eindhoven?

Yes and it was very difficult! Start the research immediately!

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Ducth is difficult but everybody here can speak English, so no big deal. No idea about the courses.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Eindhoven from your city?

By plane, it was cheap from my country and the airport is very close to the city center!

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Not much, but the design week and the glow festival are very well organized events!

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Eindhoven in the future?

I think it's a good place to stay, you can live in a good way but without great fun. I would recommend to travel as much as possible and visit the beautiful Dutch cities!
