Why did you choose to go to Düsseldorf, Germany?

Because they proposed me a good project and I was looking for an experience abroad.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

6 months. I received 400 € per month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Düsseldorf?

Funny and crazy.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Düsseldorf to other students?

Yes. The city is small, but pretty nice and the Altbier is fantastic. The University is well organized.

What is the food like?

The food is really good. And there are many Italian restaurant and also cheap and good pizzerias.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Düsseldorf?

I was lucky. I found it in 1 week.

How much does it cost to live in Düsseldorf?

Accommodation is not really cheap, but not expensive. The food and the drinks are quite cheap. I think with 800€ you are safe.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

To know German helps, but it is not mandatory. A lot of people speak English. There are languages courses in the University. I found also the Italian one. In addition, you can also easily find an exchange languages partner.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Düsseldorf from your city?

Fly. The airport of Düsseldorf is really close to the city and easily reachable. Also many cheap companies like Easyjet and Airberlin are there.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Düsseldorf?

Sure. You must go, especially on Wednesdays and during the Weekend.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Düsseldorf?

For pizza: Lupo - good and cheap.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Some museums and the harbor area, but you can go to Cologne in half an hour to visit the Dom.
