How did you find living in Dunkirk? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Dunkirk is a small city. It's a good place to live but isn't exactly the liveliest student city.
I think that you can visit the entire city in just a week.
What is student life like in Dunkirk?
The student life isn't very lively. If you want to party, it is best to go to Lille, which is around 70km from Dunkirk.
What is the cost of living like in Dunkirk?
The cost of living is similar to other small cities in France. There are supermarkets, shops where you can find things quite cheap.
To eat (not on campus), for 3€50 you can buy a meal deal (sandwich/panini, drink and dessert).
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Dunkirk? Do you have any advice regarding this?
I don't have any advice regarding this as I lived with relatives.
What is the food like in the city? What are you favourite dishes?
You can find everything, from local (Flemish) dishes, to international food (hamburgers, pizzas... ).
What I really love to eat in Dunkirk is the chips.
Which parts of Dunkirk are worth seeing?
The beach, Puythouck lake, the Bois des Forts, the belfry.
And the best places to eat? Which are your favourites?
Chez Fred, Domino's Pizza, Le petit Gourmet, Casa della Pasta, Sushi Kyo, Au Grand Maurien.
