You can go to the beach, there are so many students parties, almost every weekend. The people from Dunkirk is very nice and open to receive foreign students.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Dunkirk to other students?

Yes, I recommend it. I really enjoy my time there. One advice, is to rent a house/apartment with more students. The city is not a big city with so many things to do, but the people are nice and you can get any ways to have fun. It is so close from other big cities that in less than 2 hours you could be there, like Belgium, Lille, Paris... So it is a good place if you want to travel around Europe.
