Last summer I went on holiday to the south of Portugal for a week with my family; my parents, my little brother and me. We rented a house in a city called Albufeira. The house was next to the beach, and we were a great patio with a swimming pool too.

Albufeira was a big city, with a lot of people (most of them tourist like us) and a lot of bars, restaurants and shops. Some of them were typical American and English places, with English music and food.

We passed all the mornings in the pool (my brother and me more than my parents) and the evenings in the beach. In the night we went to the principal street where all the people were eating, dancing and buying presents. One night we ate in an Indian restaurant, it was the first time that I did that with my family. The other days we ate typical Portuguese food, and I loved it.

The beach was great, it was the typical Algarve´s beach with big stones and warm water.

We visited too some small Portuguese villages in the zone. They were very beautiful with their small white houses and their typical streets and churches. We visited big cities too, like Faro o Vilamoura.

At the end of the holidays I was happy because my skin was brown, I learned a lot of things about Portugal, and I passed a greats holidays with my family.

I love this country, I think that in hte future I'm going to live there, maybe like erasmus student or doing an internship. I dont know when... but I'ts sure. Why not?
