What is it like to live in Delhi? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Living in Delhi is different experience. Life is challenging but if you love food and shopping then you can live in Delhi.

I wouldn't recommend it for long stay because of the traffic, pollution and some criminal Activities. City is Crowded but all good places are well connected by Metro.

There are special street for food and clothes where you can found cheapest food and clothes in the Earth. There are some old Monuments and temples which is the beauty of City.

What is the student lifestyle like in Delhi?

I was living in Delhi for one year. I have completed my Master of Technology from University of Delhi.

I was student of Delhi University, South Campus. Life was amazing. Hostels, campus everything was PERFECT.

How much does it cost to live in Delhi?

I was living in Hostel. I was paying 2000 for food and 900 for room rent. It was total of 3000 INR which is around 25 euros.

Outside you can pay 5000 to 10000 room rent and 10000 for food which is around 20000 INR. It cost around 250 Euros.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Delhi? Is there any advice you can give?

No, its not that difficult. You can found any range of rooms but quality matters. Go back to home after 10 pm and for Girls, always be in group.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

You can eat found all type of food either North indian, south indian, chinese. My favorite food is Chinese: Butter Chicken, Paratha, Kadai Panner.

    Is it good to eat out in Delhi? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

    Yes This is the best place for indian food. You can go to Chandini Chowk and eat Parathas.

    My favorite spot is Chandini chowk. You can found plenty of food there specially Paratha Wali Galli where Parathas are world famous.

    Is the nightlife good in Delhi? Where is good to go?

    I don't recommend the nightlife in Delhi. Its better before 10, go back to your home and spend time with family and friends.

    What advice would you give future students headed to Delhi?

    Make some good friends, Eat indian Curry, be happy and enjoy the life.
