Flats to rent are a big problem in Darmstadt, not many and the prices are to high in comparision with low quality that they offer. Be prepared that in general in Germany the apartments are empty...

Germany is definitely not appropriate place for Good food... but if you like "Schnitzel mit Pommes Frites" it`s the perfect.
